Working alongside Cambridge Consultants and Gro to develop a connected personal activity monitor for MiLife – a spin-out of Unilever. The monitor collects and stores data about the user’s movements 24/7. The data uploads via Bluetooth to the cloud. There, algorithms process the data and feed back coaching advice to the user through a web portal.
The monitor was inspired by the simplicity of charity bands and that simplicity is echoed in the design of the user interface which very much placed the user front of mind.
